Overview & Primary Outcomes
The Financial Controller plays a critical role in the financial health and success of Incubeta UK. They are responsible for complete ownership of the UK P&L for their designated specialization(s), working closely with the relevant Head(s) of Department to drive discussion on financial results, debtors and other financial matters, ultimately enabling informed, data-driven business decisions.

  • Accurate and Timely Financial Reporting - All deadlines are met and information is provided to a high standard
  • Improved Financial Performance - the Financial Controller ultimately contributes to the overall financial health and performance of the company
  • Operational Excellence - all outcomes responsibilities are delivered smoothly and efficiently, improving customer satisfaction and retention
  • Fostering trusted relationships with key internal stakeholders within the UK - the Financial Controller will also successfully business partner the relevant Heads of Department

Key Responsibilities

P&L Ownership for Relevant Specialization(s):

  • Coordinate bottom up budget and subsequent re-forecasts with client teams and own the finalised versions of these within Planful
  • Prepare monthly flash results for designated business areas
  • Conduct GP reviews, investigating any discrepancies and working closely with local delivery teams to ensure accurate reporting
  • Reconciling and making the necessary adjustments for any clients who are invoiced based on estimates/media budgets
  • Raise any necessary adjusting entries and review on an ongoing basis

Business Commercial Support:

  • Support assigned divisions with financial queries, investigations and analyses
  • Conduct regular meetings with the Head of Department and drive discussion on financial results, debtors and any other financial matters
  • Support the preparation on any commentaries
  • Working closely with with O2C/P2P streams to ensure queries and issues are resolved in a timely manner

Ensuring Good Financial Hygiene:

  • Ensuring group finance controls are implemented and maintained in local processes
  • Assisting in the recording and management of operational expenditure across the UK business
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts for clients of assigned specializations
  • Drive continuous improvement in finance function by initiating and participating in various finance related projects
  • Assisting other team members as and when required when excess capacity is available
  • Assist with preparation of audit sampling package for external audits
  • Assist in integration of acquired companies when required
