Role Overview

The Global Learning and Development Manager works with the Global CPO to design, develop and run our company-wide learning initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about nurturing talent, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and driving organisational effectiveness through innovative development programs.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with senior management and leadership stakeholders
  • Proficiency in delivering and facilitating engaging live sessions, fostering interactive learning experiences
  • Proficiency in maintaining a structured approach to tasks, with a keen focus on optimising processes for efficiency and effectiveness and project managing L&D initiatives for global projects
  • Background in utilising and evolving LMS, including experience in enhancing their functionality to meet evolving organisational needs.
  • Self-starter mentality with the capability to both lead and support projects independently, driving initiatives forward with initiative and resourcefulness.
  • Ideally, possesses knowledge of core learning theories, frameworks, assessments, etc, enabling the design of impactful learning experiences.
  • Track record of contributing to the development of learning programs from inception to implementation, with a demonstrated positive impact on organisational outcomes.
  • Proficiency in evaluating, tracking, and reporting metrics across the learning organisation, with a focus on measuring the impact of learning initiatives on business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Program Development and Management:

  • Design and deliver a range of learning programs, including onboarding, technical training, and soft skills development
  • Consolidate and create standardised content for all markets across Incubeta to utilise
  • Utilise a variety of learning methodologies, including e-learning platforms, workshops, roundtables and mentoring, to cater to diverse learning styles and preferences.
  • Partner with subject matter experts internally and externally to develop relevant and impactful training content.
  • Design and deliver training sessions to employees across different regions, ensuring consistency and alignment with organisational objectives
  • Facilitate global knowledge sharing sessions to encourage cross-functional collaboration and the exchange of best practices.
  • Leverage technology and virtual platforms to reach remote and distributed teams effectively

Learning Culture Enhancement:

  • Champion a culture of continuous learning and development across the organisation
  • Implement initiatives to promote knowledge sharing, collaboration, and peer-to-peer learning such as mentorship
  • Drive employee engagement and retention through innovative learning experiences and opportunities for growth.

External Providers Relationship Management:

  • Collaborate with external learning providers to organise learning days, workshops, and specialised training programs.
  • Lead engagements with platform providers, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) and authoring tools, to ensure the selection and implementation of suitable learning technology solutions.

Technology Integration and Innovation:

  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in learning and development, such as automation and artificial intelligence, to enhance training effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology for personalised learning experiences and adaptive learning pathways.

People Management:

  • Build and lead a high-performing learning and development team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Manage departmental budgets, resources, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with organisational goals.

Key projects include:

  1. Digital Academy and scaling early careers learning offering globally
  2. Consolidating and scaling standardised learning offering and catalogue for all employees
  3. Data-driven learning solutions working with the Chief Client Officer and Director of Solutions
