Paid Media Manager - Social and Search (US)

The PMM role will form part of the US Paid Media team, reporting into a Paid Media. Director (PMD) within a client pod, and working alongside a team of Paid Media Managers. The ideal candidate is someone who is immersed within the world of performance marketing and eager to join a global media agency.

PMMs are responsible for maximizing our advertisers’ digital budgets according to their required goals. Your primary focus as a PMM is the implementation and optimization of strategies in Paid Search and Paid Social platforms, while spending a predetermined budget - all to ensure clients’ goals are met and that they see a full return on digital investment. Reporting, data analysis and insights are crucial aspects of the role so the ability to interpret numbers and think critically are extremely important.

  • You are confident managing Paid Search campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and Search Ads 360, and Paid Social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and Pinterest. Other platforms such as Snapchat, X and Reddit are advantageous.

  • Advanced English speaking and writing skills.
  • Experience as a Paid Search/Paid Social specialist for a minimum of 2 years
  • Certificates, licenses and registrations required (at a minimum):
  • Google Ads certifications (any)
  • Well-versed in performance marketing, yielding results for clients’ investments, i.e. sales/lead conversion and omni-channel acquisition
  • Experience analyzing data and writing
  • Experience with website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Experience with Amazon Ads and/or Amazon DSP highly advantageous
  • Computer skills required: (Microsoft Office Suite; Google Sheets/Docs/Slides, Project Management Software)


  • Certificates, licenses and registrations preferred: Search Ads 360, Meta Blueprint (Media Buying/Media Planning), LinkedIn Certified Marketer (Marketing Strategy) proof of completion of TikTok for Business Modules, Amazon Ads, Amazon DSP, Campaign Manager 360, Display & Video 360, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager

Role Responsibilities:

  • Implement strategic campaign set ups with sufficient research and following direction given by PMD.
  • Analyze performance and optimize strategies accordingly.
  • Daily reporting and monitoring of campaigns to ensure accurate pacing and that budget objectives and performance goals are met.
  • Evaluate data and identify changes in performance, highlighting underlying problems and opportunities for growth.
  • Follow internal QA process without exception and perform QA for other team members when needed.
  • Ensure best practice platform and buying techniques are employed at all times.
  • Act as a technical support, both internally and externally.
  • Investigate reporting discrepancies and tracking issues.
  • Depending on client requirements, deliver performance reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and/or ad hoc basis.
  • Analyze campaign data to provide clients with relevant, timely and actionable insights that are valuable to the client’s organization.
  • Attend client meetings and support the PMD and client services team with relevant updates.
  • Communicate with clients day-to-day where necessary.
  • Contribute to client presentations, whether client reviews or future strategic initiatives.
  • Prioritize continuous upskilling on Paid Search and Paid Social as well as other channels in order to have a holistic view of clients’ media strategies and support them accordingly.
  • Stay up to date with the latest product updates and trends in the industry, finding opportunities to test and apply these.
